The main activity of Continental Armadores de Pesca S.A is wild shrimp capture and processing using own ships and plants on land. The company was founded in Argentina in the year 1977, being a pioneer in Patagonia.

At present, Conarpesa S.A is the world’s largest fishing exporter and the largest exporter of Argentinian wild shrimp.

It has 4 processing plants and employs over 1,000 people as employees and many more indirectly.
Conarpesa is today one of the main sources of employment in Patagonia.
